The climax of this story is when Brian finds a way into the back half of the plane where the survival kits were. He wasn't able to get in the back of the plane until a tornado ripped the plane in half. He goes through the kit of supplies to find packs of food rations, a lighter,some pots, an emergency radio, and some other supplies.

ReplyDeleteActually I believe the climax in Hatchet is when Brian is not seen by rescue palnes and goes into depression. The climax is when Brian changes. This change in the main character is a paradigm shift which signals the climax.
