Reaction

Brian had some bad times during his ordeal in the wild. But, Brian still loves the outdoors and has grown a bigger love for it than before. He still loves all animals even if they put him in danger. Brian has become a better, more experienced human being.

Antagonist

The antagonist in the story would be mother nature. It has its good times and bad so Brian has to learn to live and adapt with it.

Protanganist

The Protanganist in the story is Brian Robeson.

Theme

The theme was a vast, thick, Candian forest filled with billions of pine trees that went on for thousands of miles. There was one of many lakes where Brian stayed. There was a sand beach that surrounded the lake.

Symbol

When Brian Becomes a "New Man", it is like a little fawn becoming an adult Doe.

Resolution

Brian came out of the wild a live. He knew he was extremely lucky to be rescued in that situation. Brian changed into a brand new person after that experience. He learned so much and although frightened at the time, actually liked living in the Canadian wilderness.

Falling Action

Brian is shocked when the radio still worked. He turned it on and called for help. He didn't have very high hopes of someone responding but someone did. They told him they were sending help to find him so he should stay put so he did. Later that day a plane arrived and landed on the water to pick Brian up.
